Terms	Definitions
Lucid	Clear; glowing with light; easily understood; sane
Luminescence	The giving off of light without heat
Luminous	Radiating or reflecting light; well-lighted; shining; enlightened
Luminary	A celestial body; a person who is a shining example in a profession
Illuminate	To supple with light; light up; to make lucid or clarify
Elucidate	To make lucid or clear; explain
Translucent	Allowing light to pass through without being transparent
Photogenic	Having features that look attractive in photographs
Photography	A process of producing images on sensitized surfaces by the chemical action of light or other forms of radiant energy
Photogrammetry	The process of making surveys and maps through the use of aerial photographs
Photosensitivity	Quality of being photosensitive; abnormal sensitivy of the skin to ultraviolet light
Telephoto Lens	A camera lens that produces a large image of distant or small objects
Photocopy	A duplicate of a document or print made on specialzed copying equipment
Act	Anything done, being done, or to be done; a formal decision, law, or statute; a main division of a play
Activate	TO make active; to place a military unity on active status
Activism	The practice of achieving political or other goals through actions of protest or demonstration
Agent	A representative working on behalf of another
Agency	An organization that provides a particular serve; the place of busness of an agent
Agenda	A list or outline of thigns to be done or matters to be acted or voted upon
Acting	Serving as a temporary substitute during another's absence; the art of performing in plays, films, etc.
