Cell Wall Found outside the cell membrane in plant, fungi, & bacterial cells. Gives support and is made of cellulose.
Nucleus Controls most cell processes w. DNA.
Chromatin Long strands of DNA.
Chromosomes Supercoiled chromatin.
Nucleolus Produces ribosomes.
Nuclear envelope Surrounds nucleus, double layer, has pores.
Cytoskeleton Network of protein fibers that help cells keep shape.
Microtubules Thin hollow cylinders that help keeps shape & separate chromosomes during cell division.
Cilia Short hairlike projections
Flagella Long whip-like projection.
Pseudopods Temporary foot-like projections.
Ribosomes Site of protein synthesis.
Endoplasmic Reticulum Assemble and transport of proteins.
Golgi Apparatus PACKAGES AND EXPORTS ALL CELL PRODUCTS.
Vacuole Stores water, salts, proteins, & carbs.
Lysosome Contains enzymes for digestion food and old cell parts.
Mitochondria Converts glucose to ATP.
Chloroplast Uses sunlight to make energy-rich food.
