 Euthanasia | Euthanasia is something that should be legalized but have an extent that should be pushed no further. People who are terminally ill and have no way of getting better, should have a choice as well as their family, and people who are alive only due to drugs and machinery should leave the decision to what their family thinks is best. It isn't fair for anyone to be put through pain and not enjoy life. It will lead to an unhappy ending of a life that should be positive. It devalues life and causes pain. Euthanasia is not legalised anywhere in the world at this very stage, although there is still protest and debates going on about this issue weather it should be legalized or not. |
| Designer babies | believed to be research in the future for designer babies to be a normality to life. A person's life can be told when they are first born, or even before they are made. When a couple decides to have a baby, they will be able to choose eye colour, hair colour, what talents they will have and it will also be able to predetermine and cancel out dieseses or illnesses that could be hereditory. Pros; everyone will live healthier lives, people won't be judged, everyone will be seen as equal to one another, humans can live for longer and not have to worry about illnesses. Cons; there will be no indivisuality among everyone in society, everyone will be the same and may not interact the way we do now, sporting events will be rigged and there will be no true winner that can be determined. |
| Stem cell research | Stell cell research involves human organs and body parts being conducted and made in labortories around the world. It is used all naturally through advanced science and doesn't cause any harm to animals nor humans. It is a long process but can be very beneficial as humans will live longer life expectancies as we will never run out of organs, or artificial limbs if accidents occur. This also allows people to have more self confidence rather than having people look upon them if they are different in the way they are seen. |
