prewriting | is the first stage of the writing process. It is when a writer gathers his/her thoughts before writing. This can be done by making a list, web, outline, etc. |
planning | is the second stage of the writing process. It is when a writer reflects on the material produced during pre-writing and develops a plan to achieve the aim of the paper including SORTING through ideas and ORGANIZING their thoughts |
drafting | is the third stage of writing process during which a writer follows their plan and expresses ideas in complete sentences, links them, and arranges them in a sequence. WRITE, WRITE and WRITE |
