Gives away pastries for poems and his business fall, so he becomes Roxane's porter. Le Bert Cyrano's friend and his confidante. Is a fellow solider and guardsman. He worries that Cyrano princples ruin his carrer. Ligniere Christian's friend, a satirist and drunkard with many eniemes. Cyrano protects him from getting killed from hundered man orderd by Le Guiche. Montfleury a fat, untalented actor whom Cyrano bans from the stage. Valvert a insolent young nobleman lauded by de guiche as a husband for Roxane. After he insults Cyrano's nose, he is defetead in an ensuling duel and dies.
