newton The derived unit or force equal to kg m/s^2.
displacement The movement of an object from one place to another or change in position of an object. The messure between the two places is called distance.
speed how fast an object moves
scalar A quantity that has magnitude but no direction.
inertia the tendancy of an object to resist a change in motion unless an outside force acts on an object.
vector A quantity that has both magnitude and direction.

parallax An apparant change in position of an object with respect to a distant background when viewed from different locations or perspectives.

work The attraction between any two objects due to masses. All objects in the universe attract each other this way.
resonance a phenomenon that occurs when two objects naturally vibrate at the same frequency
gravity A force that gives you weight and pulls things together., a force of attraction between objects that is due to their masses
