Hypertension
A condition where there is an elevated arterial blood pressure both for systole and diastole. Factors that can influence the onset of hypertension include age, level of physical fitness, genetic predisposition, smoking, sedentary life, obesity, and diabetes mellitus.

Infant Hypertension > 90/60 mm Hg
Children Hypertension > 120/80 mm Hg
Adult Boarder Line Hypertension > 140-159 / 90-99 mm Hg
Adult Moderate Hypertension > 160-179 / 100-109 mm Hg
Adult Severe Hypertension > 180/110 mm Hg
Hypotension Exists If: Systolic pressure < 100: This condition is not dangerous, however, a patient may experience periods of dizziness especially when changing positions.
