How do people respond to new ideas?
-They can either accept the ideas or reject them
-The people more likely to accept the ideas are ones that the ideas favor or benefit and the people more likely to reject the new ideas are the people who the ideas don't benefit or go against their prior beliefs
-Ex. The church rejected the idea of the heliocentric model of the solar system because it contradicted the bible

P-A monarch ruled over the peasants
R-The people were Christian either Chatholic or Protestant
I- The common man wasn't very well educated but had some access to knowledge thanks to modern invetions such as the printing press
M-The King controlled the armies with a heavy influence from the church
E-The governments of the time were mainly Mercantalist but men like Adam Smith promoted ideas of Laissez-Faire
S-Most of the family was present and once the intellectual movement came more and more people were educated
