A-Elevation, depression, upward rotation and adduction (retraction)of scapula
P-neck region to 12th thoracic and laterally from vertebral to scapula

A-Horizontal abduction,outward rotation,extension of shoulder
P- between scap and humerus on posterior
Ex- chinning, rope climbing,dips in parallel bars

Subscapularis muscle

O-Anterior surface of subscapular fossa
I-Lesser tubercle of humerus
A- Adduction and extension of shoulder

Teres Major muscle

O-Lower 1/3 of the lateral border of the scapula
I-Intertubercular groove of humerus
A- Extension, Inward Rotation and adduction
P- posterior, diagnolly from inferion scapula
Ex- chinning, dips, rope, uprise mvt

Deltoideus Muscle

O- Front 1/3 of clavicle,border of the acromion, and lower edge of the spine of scapula
I- Deltoideus tubercle on the middle outer surface of the humerus
A- Abduction,Flexion, Extension
P-over head of humerus from ant to post
Ex- dumbell in hand raise to side

Latissimus Dorsi muscle

O-Posterior crest of ilium,back of sacrum and spinous processes of T6-T12, and under 3 ribs
I- Medial side of the intertubercular groove of humerus
A-Extension, rotation inward, horizontal abduction( extension), adduction
P- lateral, post of trunk below armpit
Ex- chinning, dips, rope, uprise mvt

Pectoralis Major muscle

O-Anterior surface of clavicle and coastal cartilages of 1st 6 ribs and sternum
I-Flat tendon 2 or 3 inches wide to the lateral side of the intertubercular groove
A- Flexion, extension, horizontal adduction (flexion), rotation inward, adduction- abduction
P- chest between clavicle and 6th rib
Ex- Push ups, pull ups

Biceps Brachii muscle

O-top of coracoid process and glenoid fossa
I- radial tuberusity
A- flexion of elbow, supination of forearm and flexion of shoulder
P- anterior aspect of humerus
Ex- curling, chinning, rope climbing

Brachialis muscle

O- lower half of anterior portion of humerous
I-Coranoid process of ulna
A- Flexion of elbow
P-lateral side of upper arm under biceps
Ex- whenever elbow flexes

Brachioradialis muscle

O-lower condyloid of humerus
I- radius at the styloid process
A- Flexion of elbow, pronation and supination
P- on lateral side of forearm
Ex- strong elbow flexor

Triceps Brachii muscle

O- Long head of scapula, medial head and lateral head of humerus
I- olecranon proces of ulna
A- Extension of elbow
P-post and lateral humerus
Ex- push ups, dips, pressing barbell upward

Anconeous Muscle

O-posterior surface of condyle of humerus
I-posterior surface of ulna and olecranon
A- Extension of Elbow
P- lateral aspect of olecranon
Ex- pulls synovial membrane of elbow

Supinator Muscle

O- outer condyloid of humerus
I-outer surface of upper radius
A- supination of elbow
Ex- turning a screwdriver, throwing baseball

Pronator Teres Muscle

O- inner condyloid of humerus and medial side of ulna
I- outer surface of the radius
A- flexion of elbow and pronation of forearm

Flexor Carpi Radialis Muscle

O-medial condyle of humerus
I- base of 2nd and 3rd metacarpals (palmar aspect)
A-- Flexion of the wrist and elbow

Flexor Carpi Ulnaris Muscle

O- medial condyle of humerus
I-Base of 5th metacarpal
A- Flexion of wrist and elbow

Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis

O- lateral condyle of humerus
I- Base of 3rd metacarpal (dorsal surface)
A- Extension of wrist and extension

Extensor Carpi Ulnaris Muscle

O- lateral condyle of humerus
I- Base of 5th metacarpal (dorsal surface)
A- Extension and adduction of wrist, Extension of forearm

Extensor digitorium communis muscle

O-lateral condyle of humerus
I- 4 tendons to the base of the 2nd and third phalanges of the four fingers (dorsal surface)
A-Extension of fingers, wrist and elbow

Flexor digitorum sublimis muscle

O- Medial condyle of humerus
I- middle phalax of the four fingers (palmar)
A-flexion of fingers, wrist and elbow

Extensor pollicis longus muscle

O- posterior surface of ulnar
I- Base of distal phalax of thumb (dorsal surface)
A- extension of wrist and thumb

Flexor pollicis longus muscle

O- middle anterior surface of radius
I- base of distal phalanx of thumb (palmar surface)
A- flexion of wrist and thumb
