 What do the Ten Commandments have to do with being disciples of Christ? | As disciples of Christ, we try to show our love for God and for one another by following the Ten Commandments. We try to live in God's love. |
| Why did God give his people the laws? | The ten Commandments are the laws of God's covenant. If God's people would live by the Ten Commandments they would keep their covenant relationship with God. He would be their God, and they would be his people. |
| What do we celebrate at every Mass? | As Christians we know that the new covenant between God and his people has also been sealed. It has been sealed with Jesus' blood. Jesus Christ offered his own life to save us and to free us from sin. Through this new covenant it is possible for us to share in God's life and friendship. We celebrate the new covenant at each celebration of the Eucharist. |
