Nostrils | Either of two openings in the nose. |
Mouth | Has a tongue that helps to shape sounds produced in the larynx. |
Epiglottis | Stops food from entering the larynx and lungs. |
Larynx | Links the throat to the trachea. Also called the voice box. |
Trachea | Carries air to and from the lungs. |
Bronchi | A branch of the trachea that carries air to the lungs. |
Bronchiole | The final, smallest branch of the lung's air passages. |
