Cerebrum

Responsible for sensing, thinking, learning, emotion, consciousness, and voluntary movement.

Corpus Callosum

It connects the 2 hemispheres.

Thalamus

Relay center for the incoming sensory signals. Except for smell.

Hypothalamus

Responsible for the regulating basic biological needs: Hunger, Thrist, and Temp. Control. Also know as the four f's...Flight, Fight, Feeding, and Flamate.

Pituitary Gland

Gland that regulates other endocrine and memory. "Growth Hormone"

Hippocampus

Part of the limbic system involved in learning, memory, and matching.

Pons

Sleep and Arousal

Medulla

Unconcious function, breathing and circulation.

Reticular Formation

Fibers that carry stimulation to sleep and arousal.

Cerebral Cortex

Higher order thinking

Amygdala

Part of the limbic system involved in emotion, aggression, and fear. It's the Seat of emotion.

Cerebellum

Coordinates fine muscle, movement, and balance.
