polyptoton the rhetorical device of using multiple forms of the same word. e.g. et apud illum quidem ratio rationem, apud alios timorem timor vicit. (that example also has a chiasmus)
asyndeton the rhetorical device of leaving out conjunctions, usually to create a sense of speed, urgency, or excitement. e.g. Deducit quadriremes, ascendit ipse non Rectinae modo sed multis — erat enim frequens amoenitas orae — laturus auxilium.
