cattle drive	moving herds of cattle usually to railroad lines
vaquero	Spanish or Mexican cowhand
cow town	settlement that grew up at the end of a cattle trail
sod house	house built of soil held together by grass roots
sodbuster	farmer on the Great Plains in the late 1800s
cooperative	group of farmers who pull their money to buy seeds and tools at a better price (wholesale)
wholesale	buying or selling something in larger quantities at lower prices
inflation	a rise in prices and a decrease in the value of money
