Edema The swelling of tissues with fluid

Emphysema Chronic lung disease characterized by dyspnea, chronic cough, barrel chest, and chronic hypoxemia and hypercapnea
Empyema The presence of pus in the pleural cavity; also known as pyothorax
Endotracheal intubation Insertion of a non-collapsible breathing tube into the trachea by way of the nose or mouth
Epiglottitis Inflammation of the epiglottis
Epistaxis Nosebleed
Eupnea Normal breathing rhythm
