laptop a portable computer small enough to use in your lap
modem electronic equipment consisting of a device used to conect computers by a telephone line; cable lines, or satllite.
monitor an output device that allows the user to see his/her work. It resembles a television.
motherboard the part of the computer that spreads the electricity and connects all the main parts of the computer

rom Memory inside the computer whose contents can be accessed and read but cannot be changed.

software A program or instructions that give directions to the computer.
speakers An output device that allows you to hear voice, music, and other sounds from your computer.
spreadsheet a way of representing data on a table that uses rows and columns allowing a user to input data and manipulate, or change, how it is viewed.
technology tool, machines, and methods used by a culture to improve products and performance, and save time.
telecommuting working from home and communicating with work through the phone, fax, or e-mail.
usb cable that connects spu to printer
virus an electronic disease created only to cause malfunctions and damage to your computers data systems and critical files.
word processing a process using a computer to input and edit text; a computer application that resembles typewriting but allows for instant correction of errors, moving text to different locations, and other editing functions.
