Point

Gives exact location.

Line

A collection of points that extends in both direction without end

Collinear Points

Points that lie on the same line.

Noncollinear Points

Points not on the same line.

Ray

A part of a line with one endpoint

Endpoint

points that defines a line segment or ray; line segment=2 ray=1

Coplanar points

points laying in the same plane

Midpoint

a point on a line segment that divides it into two equal points- The halfway point of a line

Skew lines

two nonparallel lines that do not intersect

Acute Angle

an angle from 0 to 90 degrees

Obtuse

an angle from 90 to 180 degrees

Two angles that share a common side and a common vertex, but do not overlap

Plane

Three noncollinear points in a space determine a flat surface called a plane

Complementary angles

2 angles whose degrees add up to 90

Supplementary angles

2 angles whose degrees add up to 180

Right Angle

angle measuring 90 degrees

Segment

does not extend forever but has 2 distinct endpoints
