| wilting | When a plant doesn't get enough water, its leaves start to droop because they are wilting. |

| semblance | When you make a drawing that looks a lot like someone, it is a good semblance of that person. |
| distraught | When someone is distraught, that person is very, very unhappy. |
| improvise | If you improvise a song or a story, then you make it up as you sing the song or tell the story. |
