food chain | beginning with procedures along wich energy is transferred from trophic level to troshic level |
food web | the interconnected food chains in an ecosystem |
heterotrogh | organisms that cannot make their own food and must feed on other organisms for energy and nutrients |
scavenger | animals that feed on animals that have already died |
