あげるsomeone gives something to a person who is not a member of the giver's in-group but whose status is about equal to that of the giver. Cannot be used when the indirect object is the first person or a person with whom the speaker empathiszes (usually a member of the speaker's in-group).. Ageru requires the giver's point of view or a neutral point of view when describing an event. When an even involves the first person or a person the speaker empathizes with, the event is normally described from that person's point of view. Humble polite version is さしあげる
あげるsomeone gives some action as a favor to a person who is not a member of the giver's in-group but whose status is about equal to that of the giver. Used with the て form of verbs. It is a description from the viewpoint of the benefactor (subject), therefore the indirect object must not be the first person or a person the speaker empathizes with. If the main verb is intranstive, に is not used; instead, のために is used.
あいだ にDuring (the time when); while. The space between two temporal or figurative points. 
あまりThe degree is not very much. (Not) very much; (not) very. Usually occurs in negative sentences. In a positive sentence, it means "too" or "much" in a negative way. Interchangable with "あんまり” in conversational speech.
あるAn inanimate thing exists. Be; exist; have. Includes events and problems.
あるSomething has been done to something and the resultant state of that action remains. Have been done; be done. Used with て  form.
あとでSome state or action takes place at a time (not always immediately) after another state or action has taken place. で may be omitted in informal speech.
A conjunction which indicates that the preceding clause expresses a condition. If.
ばかりA particle which indicates that something is the only thing or state which exists, or the only action someone will take, takes, is taking, or took. Only; just; be ready to do something; just did something; be just doing something; about.
ばよかったA phrase which expresses the speaker's regret. I wish ~ had done something.
