  1. Elijah awoke slowly... this wasn't the army barracks room he realized. Then he looked around at all the strange equipment and remembered everything that had happened. He strained, trying to rise, but was tied down and drugged, thereby making the effort futile. His senses were dulled, but he attempted to sharpen them and fully take in his surroundings. He was in a whitewashed room, but the walls had glowing neon seems running in random zigzag lines throughout them. There were several machines in the room; one was what appeared to be a giant microscope, and another which looked like a giant package scanner. Neither seemed like it was made by humans, and each had the same seems glowing with an unearthly bright neon light.
    As Elijah continued to survey his surroundings, a creature that he had never seen before entered the room. It apparently ranked higher than any of the neon forms in the room, and dispersed them with a wave of it's hand. Well, it wasn't exactly a hand - more like a thorn where a human's hand would be. It approached Elijah an spoke in a tongue he could not understand, from a mouth located in it's forehead. "El-abj ookthay ram! Janeu laprain bach!" The alien shouted. Elijah, backed up as close as he could to the wall, wishing to escape the creature. It continue to glide towars him, on it's six tentacle-like legs. Elijah's breath was coming in ragged gasps now, and he tried to brace himself for death. He struggled against his bonds once more, determined to escape from whatever was coming towards him. Sensing this, the alien raised a kind of gun-thing towards him. Elijah could hear the whizz as an internal mechanism on the gun started activating. At the last moment, Elijah threw his ipod up to block the laser, reflecting it back into the alien's head.

    Now Elijah saw his chance. From somewhere deep inside of him, he drew enough strength to break one wrist out of it's manacle. with the aid of his free hand, he soon got the rest of his body loose. He knew he had to escape before more of the neon forms or aliens came after him. Leaping of the board he had been tied on, he skidded along the floor and grabbed the gun. He ran out onto the hall floor and turned left, eyes always alert. Then he heard an alarm system go off, and several of the neon forms jumped out of corridors in front of him and behind him. He was surrouned.
