Chamber Music serious music performed by a small group of musicians
Concerto a composition for orchestra and a soloist
Minuet & Trio An A-B-A form (A = minuet; B = trio) in a moderate triple meter; often the third movement of the Classical multimovement cycle.
Requiem a song or hymn of mourning composed or performed as a memorial to a dead person
Rondo a musical form that is often the last movement of a sonata
Scherzo a fast movement (usually in triple time)
Sonata a musical composition of 3 or 4 movements of contrasting forms
