Acromion Process

the part of the scapula on the posterior side which helps form the shoulder socket; larger of the two processes

Coracoid Process

the part of the scapula on the anterior side which helps form the shoulder socket; smaller of the two processes

Superior Border

the edge of the scapula on the superior side

Superior Angle

the curve on the top medial side of the scapula

Subscapular Fossa

a small shallow cavity on the main portion of the scapula on the anterior side

Body

the main portion of the scapula

Medial Border

the edge of the scapula on the medial side

Lateral Border

the edge of the scapula on the lateral side

Inferior Angle

the curve formed at the bottom of the scapula

Inferior Border

the edge of the scapula on the inferior side, is quite small

Supraspinous Fossa

the superior fossa created by the spine of the scapula

Infraspinous Fossa

the inferior fossa created by the spine of the scapula

Spine

the projection from the scapula which forms two separated fossa on the posterior side of the scapula

Glenoid Cavity

the small grooved area on the lateral superior side of the scapula and articulates with the humerus
