I didn't have definitions for some of these so I looked them up... if you have better definitions for any of these please post them in the discussion section and I'll get on changing them right away. Also if you notice any mistakes/typos post them as a comment and I'll fix that too!

|Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)||administers foreign aid programs to developing countries.|
|Developed country||country with a highly developed economy. Citizens who live here have high incomes, abundant food, good housing, and can afford luxuries.|
|Developing country||country with a poorly developed economy. Citizens who live here have low incomes, shortages of food, poor housing, and cannot afford luxuries.|
|North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)||eliminate trade barriers|
|Newly industrializing country||countries in the transition stage between developing and developed countries. Typically have rapidly growing economies.|
|Standard of living||the degree of wealth and material comfort available to a person or community.|
|United Nations (UN)||an international organization of countries to promote peace, security and co-operation.|
