Propranolol (Inderal) --> Therapeutic Use -->Used to treat high blood pressure/cardiovascular diseases
Propranolol (Inderal) --> MOA -->Prevents sympathetic stimulation of both β1 and β2 receptors, but the the therapeutic effects only come from the blockage of β1 receptors only
-->Antagonistic effects leads to the decreased heart rate and force of contraction, which ultimately leads to a decreased blood pressure
Propranolol (Inderal) --> Adverse Effects (1) Bronchoconstriction (Worsened in asthmatics)
(2) Low blood sugar (Worsened in diabetics)
(3)Lack of symptoms of low blood sugar (i.e. shakiness and rapid heart rate)
(4)Decreased heart rate and force of contraction
