Vasodilation -An increase in the diameter of blood vessels.
Veins -Blood vessels carrying bood from capillaries in body toward the heart.
Ventricle -(ventr-underside)
A heart chamber that pumps blood into an artery.
Two layers of pericardium -fibrous pericardium
-inner parietal pericardium.
Myocardium (mi=muscle) -thick layer of cardiac muscle that consists of the heart wall.
Epicarduim or visceral pericardium -the thin membrane that is firmly attached to the exterior surface of the myocardium.
Endocardium internal surface of the myocardium
-single layer of squamous epithelium.
