circle | The set of all points in a plane that are the same distance from a given point called the center |
radius | The distance from the center of a circle to a point on the circle |
diameter | A line segment that passes through the center of a circle and has endpoints on the circle |
circumference | the perimeter of a circle |
central angle | An angle with a vertex at the center of a circle and whose sides are radii of the circle |
sector | The part of a circle that looks like a piece of pie. A sector is bounded by 2 radii and an arc of the circle. |
