| diffusion | A movement of a molecule from a crowded area to a less crowded area. It does not require energy. |
| carbs/starch | An energy rich type of food source, such as sugar and potatoes, that is used to get quick energy. They contain carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms. |
| protein | A food type, such as meats and eggs, that is used by the body to build and repair the body. They contain carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen atoms. |
| fats | Energy rich food type, such as butter or oils, that is used by the body for long term energy. They contain carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms in a complex arrangement which stores more energy than carbohydrates. |
| circulatory system | The human body system that contains the heart, blood, and all of the blood vessels. It delivers all of the nutrients that the cell needs. |
