Informed Consent | agreement between the client & caregiver that documents knowledge of an agreement to treatment |
Elopement | when a client runs away from an institution |
Duty to Warn | duty to protct potential victims from possible harm by a psychiatric client |
Reasonable and Prudent Care Provider | principle by which the law judges a caregivers actions by comparing what other caregivers would do in similar situations |
