ACTH	a hormone produced by the anterior pituitary gland that stimulates the adrenal cortex

calcitonin	hormone released by the thyroid gland in order to decrease blood Ca2+
PTH parathyroid H	released by the parathyroid gland to increase blood Ca2+

epinephrine	adrenaline; released by adrenal medulla making the heart beat faster, stopping digestion, enlarging pupils, sending sugar into the bloodstream, preparing a blood clot faster
norepinephrine	noradrenaline; released by adrenal medulla-chemical which is excitatory, similar to adrenaline, and affects arousal and memory; raises blood pressure by causing blood vessels to become constricted, but also carried by bloodstream to the anterior pituitary which relaxes ACTH thus prolonging stress response
relaxin	from ovaries. dilates cervix and birth canal
