Barotrauma | ventilations that are too forceful can result in this kind of trauma from the pressure. |

Rooting Reflex | when something touches a neonates cheek, they will instinctively turn there heard in that direction. |

Anxious-Avoidant Attachment | is when children show very little response to their parents/caregivers and or treat them as if they are strangers. usually this is a result of the child being repeatedly rejected. |

Conventional Reasoning | is when a child acts upon approval of their parents, surroundings, peers and society. |
Postconventional | is when a child acts upon what their conscience is telling them. |

Early Adult | ages 19 to 40 |
Middle Adults | ages 41 to 60 |
Atherosclerosis | disorder where coronary vessels have a build-up of cholesterol and calcium forming plaque. Affects 60% of adults age 65 and older. |
Late Adults | age 61 and older |
Nephrons | sophisticated capillaries that filter blood through the kidney. |
Terminal Drop Hypothesis | a theory that states in the last five years of life, high brain function is lost. |
