Target Heart Rate:

(THR) Its is what you want your heart to beat during exercise

Predicted Max Heart Rate

(PMHR) A general # used to begin your THR formula- 220

Max Heart Rate

the highest level your heart should beat during exercise

Resting Heart Rate

(RHR) This is taken after your first 30 min. of an activity

Recovery Heart Rate

It is taken after the 1st min. you start exercising

Intensity

(INT) How hard you work during exercise
* Always a decimal

Pulse

The throbbing of your blood vessels

Carotid Artery

Located in your neck to take a pulse
*Major blood vessel

Radiale Artery

In your arm used to take your pulse

Zone & Range

The upper and lower limits your heart should beat during exercise
