PLOT

the action that makes up a story

THEME

the message or lesson about life or human nature within the story

GENRE

a style of writing, such as mystery, poety, drama, historical fiction, etc.

MOOD

the feeling a piece of literature creates for the reader

CLIMAX

the high point or most exciting part of the story; the turning point of the plot

POINT OF VIEW

the angle from which a story is told:
1st person - "i" 2nd person - "he" "they"

RESOLUTION

the part of the story in which the problem (conflict) is resolved.
