| IPT File | this is where you draw and edit individual parts in Inventor |
| IAM File | this is where you assemble multiple parts together in Inventor |
| Constraints | Design restrictions or limits for products from outside factors |
| Specifications | The characteristics and capabilities of an item |
| Horizontal | Left to right |
| Vertical | Top to Bottom |
| Dimension Lines | Lines that are thin lines capped with arrowheads, which may be broken along their length to provide space for the dimension numerals |
