French Indian War
Was a war fought by French and English on American soil over control of the Ohio River Valley. The English defeated French in 1763. Called the Seven years war in europe, it was one of the eight considered as 'World Wars'
a conflict that took place in 1763 between the Native Americans and the British over settlement of Indian lands in the Great lakes area
dubbed 'league of the iroquois' by settlers, this was an alliance of five tribes in order to oppose the british and french powers domination of their region/territory.

A law of passed by the british that said that all settlers must live east of the appalachian mountains.
The Prime Minister of England during the French and Indian War. He increased the British troops and military supplies in the colonies, and drafted many colonists. This caused riots, but eventually won the war. He was later elected prime minister.
Albany Plan of Union
A plan proposed by Benjamin Franklin in 1754 that aimed to unite the colonies to a degree. It was immediatly shot down by both the colonists and the british, for different reasons.
