editing | the process of correcting a document |
hacker | an increasingly negative term referring to individuals who gain unauthorized access to computer systems for the purpose of stealing or corrupting data |

task bar | a desktop tool bar that allows you to perfom tasks such as swtching between open windows and starting new applications |
technique | a particular way of doing something |
virus | a program or piece of code that is loaded onto your computer without your knowledge or consent and that runs against your wishes usually causing damage to files |
