sort | used to arrange data in alphabetical, numerical or chronological order (ascending A-Z or descending Z-A) |
primary sort | indicates the primary (first) sort range of data, such as sort by last name |
secondary sort | indicates additional sort ranges, such as first name |
freeze panes | allows the user to work in multiple areas of a large spreadsheet and focus the view on specific cell ranges (keeps columns or rows in view regardless of scrolling) |
