the eye piece

is part of the microscope closest to your eye through which you look

the body tube

holds the eye piece in revolving nosepiece and the objectives

the arm

is the curved metal piece that holds the body tube in place over the stage and the base

the revolving noisepiece holds the

objectives and allows you to change objectives while looking at a slide

the objectives

are parts at the bottom of the body tube closest to the sample you are examining. each objective has a lens and a tubelike holder

the stage

is the flat surface on which you put your slide or samples

the stage clips

holds the slide in place
