| Water Table | underground surface below which the ground is wholly saturated with water |
| Zone of aeration | The upper zone which usually isn't completely filled with water, but with rocks and soil too. ( Is about Ground water) |
| Zone of saturation | The lower zone where water accumilates between small rock particles. |
| Limestone | a sedimentary rock consisting mainly of calcium that was deposited by the remains of marine animals |
| Sinkhole | a depression in the ground communicating with a subterranean passage (especially in limestone) and formed by solution or by collapse of a cavern roof |
