ACCULTURATION the adoption of the behavior patterns of the surrounding culture
ACHIEVEMENTS Accomplishments in art, literature, science, math, technology, law, education, etc...
BEHAVIOR The activities exhibited by human beings and influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions, values, ethics, authority, rapport, persuasion, coercion and/or genetics.
BELIEFS Something that someone accepts as true even if he or she can't prove it.
CIVILIZATION A society in an advanced state of social development (e.g., with complex legal and political and religious organizations)
CLAN Group of people related by blood or marriage
CULTURE Attitudes, beliefs and behavior that are characteristic of a particular social group or organization
CULTURE CLASH Conflict arising from the interaction of people with different cultural values
CULTURAL TRAIT A single element of normal practice in a culture (eg, wearing a turban). The specific customs that are part of the everyday life of a particular culture, such as language, religion, ethnicity, social institutions, and aspects of popular culture.
