advantages- critical analysis of what goes on in detail of services provided to a specific client
disadvantages- hard to figure out patterns. if does not get right selection of cases. really time intensive
rates under treatment identifying and learning about the services being provided. all aspects of treatment

advantages- see and learn demographics of services
disadvantages- people who arent getting services are on waiting list. dont get to understand the real need
social indicators public records, data available through public, any data found online

advantage- readily accessible
disadvantage- can be hard to find, not having enough credibility
surveys written, face to face, phone, self report

advantage- a lot of quantitative as well as qualitative information, can ask your own questions
disadvantage- not accurate. biased. response rate- people dont respond
journal articles advantage- lots of good research done through academia. good value of information
disadvantage- hard to find something that matches your search criteria
local media newspapers, internet

advantage- current information, relevant to community can get more accurate, in depth information
disadvantage- very biased, very opinionated, not always accurate
