Bioremediation the use of bacteria and other microorganisms to change pollutants in soil and water into harmless chemicals
archaebacteria a type of bacteria that is able to survive in extreme conditions
Pasteurization a process of heating food to a temperature that is high enough to kill most harmful bacteria without changing the taste of the food
