Cardiac Muscle Muscle tissue found only in the heart, this muscle is also striated and involuntary. It also controls how the blood is pumped through the body. The cardiac muscle can contract without tiring.
Striated Muscles A muscle that is connected to a bone. Therefore it can move move parts of the skeleton.(a.k.a. skeletal muscles) This muscle can be identified by the light and dark bands on the muscle that looks like stripes.
Smooth Muscles A muscle that contracts without conscious control. Found in walls of internal organs such as stomach, intestine,bladder, and blood vessels. (heart, too????)
