| Ole Object (Data Type) | Is used for some of the more advanced features. It allows you to store graphics, sound, and even objects such as spreadsheets in a field. |
| Lookup Wizard (Data Type) | Creates a field that allows you to choose a value from another table or from a list of values. |
| AutoNumber (Data Type) | Is automatically incremented by Access for each new record added. Counters are used to give each record in a database a unique identification. |
| Currency (Data Type) | Is specially formatted for dealing with currency. |
