Terms	Definitions
biology	the science that studies living organisms (anything that's alive including plants, fungi, bacteria, and animals).
biome	A group of ecosystems that share similar climates and life (animals, plants). E.g: tropical rainforest is a biome.
antibiotic	a medicine that can kill bacteria that cause infection
autobiography	Story of a person's life written by that person
biosphere	part of Earth in which life exists including land, water, and air or atmosphere
biopsy	the removal and study of tissue from a living thing to diagnose illness. e.g. If you have a weird looking mole, the doctor might cut it off and look at it under a microscope to see if you have a disease like cancer. This is called doing a biopsy.
bionic	artificial body part that enhances ability. An example would be a robotic arm to replaced an amputated one, or a computer chip that might make your muscle stronger.
