SymbolA symbol is an object or action that means something more than its literal/obvious meaning. For example: The swoosh symbol means Nike. Water is sometimes the symbol of birth and life.
ToneThe attitude the writer takes toward a subject.
MoodThe emotional attitude another takes toward a subject.
OnomatopoeiaWords that imitate the sounds it represents. Examples: Splash, bam, boom, clang, hiss, quack.
