Cell

Makes up all living organisms and carries genetic information in its nuecleus.

Gene

Units of heredity that determines features.

Phenotype

The physical traits that are the result of the gene/genotype and environment; observable characters.

Genotype

Two alleles for a feature, on a chromosome; the genetic makeup of an organism.

Dominant Allele

The stronger trait or allele.

Recessive Allele

The weaker trait or allele.

A gene in which the alleles are different.,
