Origin | The point (0,0) where the x-axis and the y-axis intersect in a coordinate plane. |
Positive Integer | An integer that is greater than zero. |
Quadrant | One of four sections into which the coordinate plane is divided. |
x-axis | The horizontal axis on a coordinate plane. |
x-coordinate | The first number of an ordered pair. |
y-axis | The vertical number line in a coordinate plane. |
y-coordinate | The second number in an ordered pair. |
