| McLaurin v. Oklahoma | A negro student possessing a master's degree was admitted to graduate school of University of Oklahoma. Since he was black he was assigned to a seat in the classroom in a row specified for negro students, was assigned to a special table in the library, and, although permitted to eat in the cafeteria at the same as other students, was assigned to a special table there. Because of this he could not study or engage with other students and was set apart from students. |
