First man and woman. They were made by God and lived in the Garden of Eden.

Adam and Eve (1) First man and woman. They were made by God and lived in the Garden of Eden.
Cain and Abel (2) Children of Adam and Eve. Cain kills Abel, therefore committing the first sin outside of the Garden.
Noah (3) Was told by God to build an ark. God made a covenant with him. The sign of this covenant is a rainbow
Abraham (4) Formally known as Abram.The sign of his covenant with God is circumcision.
Sarah (5) Wife of Abraham
Isaac (6) Son of Sarah and Abraham. Almost sacrificed to God by his father. Name means "laughter."
Jacob (7) Formally known as Israel. Father of Joseph and the 12 tribes of Israel.
Joseph (8) The favorite son of Jacob. God gave him the ability to interpret dreams, which made his brothers very jealous.
Moses (9) Led the Hebrews out of Egypt, to freedom. God delivered the 10 Commandments through him, on top of Mt. Sinai
Joshua (10) Successor to Moses. Conquers the promise land and the city of Jericho.
Samson (11) Judge. It was believed that all of his strength came from his hair.
Samuel (12) The most important judge. Refused the crown and announced David as King.
Saul (13) First King of Israel. Died in battle by falling on his sword
David (14) Second (and considered the greatest) King of Israel. Brought the kingdom into a golden age. Also wrote the entire book of psalms.
Solomon (15) Third King of Israel. Son of King David. Builder of the First Temple of Jerusalem.
Elijah (16) Most important prophet. Carried up to Heaven in a Chariot of Fire.
Isaiah (17) Prophet known for describing God as a gardener and the nation as a vineyard.
Jonah (18) Warned the Israelites to return to God. Later was eaten by a whale for his doubt.
Jeremiah (19) Prophet known for describing God as a potter who molds the nation with his hands
Jesus Christ (20) Savior of the world. The only son of God.
